Toy Designer Creates Nas Action Figure To Commemorate The 50th Anniversary Of Hip-Hop
As we continue to celebrate the road to Hip Hop 50, toy designer Steve Cartoccio has collaborated with Nas, and created a customizable action figure of the rapper, which was revealed on his Instagram.
“Nas. Truly honored to collaborate with the hip hop legend I regard as the greatest of all time,” Cartoccio wrote in his caption on his IG post.
“Preorders open Thursday 12/1 at 11 am est on shop.massappeal.com Much love to @nas and everyone at @massappeal + @hiphop50 for making it happen. More info shortly.”
The figurine comes with a removable headpiece and various accessories paying tribute to the King's Disease musician's iconic album covers, including his orange cap from Stillmatic, gold Tutankhamun-inspired burial mask from I Am, and his brown hood from Nastradamus.
The Queensbridge native recently released his album King’s Disease III, which debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 charts, marking the artist’s 16th top-10 album on the chart.
In February, the rapper will perform all three albums from the King’s Disease trilogy at Madison Square Garden.
