Tami Roman Breaks Down In Tears Over Backlash From Calling Evelyn Lozada A Fake Abuse Victim

"I just always tried to be their friend."

Tami Roman's squabbles on Basketball Wives this season have left some of the show's viewers uncertain of how to perceive her, especially after she claimed Evelyn Lozada's domestic violence abuse with her ex was staged.

Now, during the most recent episode of the reality series, Roman spoke out about her comment and got a bit emotional while detailing why she took their beef to such a dark place.

During a sit-down with fellow cast member Jackie Christie, Roman divulged some alleged information in regards to how Lozada's headline-making fight with her then-husband, Chad Johnson, came to be.

"We had a conversation many years ago where that woman said it was an accident," she said during the episode. "So, don't sit up and pretend you're the victim when you know it was a fraudulent situation... He accidentally [headbutted her] because they were tussling with each other. The neighbors saw and they called the cops and had they not done that, she would still be with Chad."

Lozada, six weeks after she and the former NFL star wed, filed for divorce.

Roman's words came on the heels of her claiming on a previous episode that Lozada was "lying on Chad," which the Livin' Lozada star firmly denied.

After Christie explained that her words were shocking and appeared insensitive, Roman came clean about her intentions.

"Maybe I was wrong for saying it," she said. "Maybe I was wrong for throwing that in her face. Throwing her truth in her face."

However, she added that she was bothered by the way her fellow cast mates, whom she considered friends, turned against her, saying she was "hurt, too."

"They been talking about me from day one," she said, tearfully. "When I was the big b***h they was talking about me. Ever since I've known them girls, they've been talking about me, and I just always tried to be their f*****g friend. And I always tried to be down and be quiet and stick around and hang in there... and I'm tired! I'm f*****g tired!"
