Pharrell Announces New N.E.R.D. Album
N.E.R.D. is coming back!
Pharrell gave the update during an iHeartRadio fan Q&A yesterday. We don’t know when said album drops, but even a small confirmation from Skateboard P is good enough.
N.E.R.D never officially broke up, though Pharrell’s solo career has been on fire since “Happy.” The group, comprised of P, Chad Hugo and Shae Haley, released their In Search Of debut in 2002. The album was coated in heavy drums and a funky intergalactic sound that would become somewhat of a signature for the Neptunes production duo (Hugo and Pharrell).
The group's last album, Nothing, came out in 2010.
