Bobby Brown on Bobbi Kristina's Death: 'I Am Completely Numb'
Bobby Brown has remained silent since the passing of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina. He is now, however, breaking his silence, sharing a few words with the public in a statement released by his lawyer, reports People.
"Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time," he said in the statement. "My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable... We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."
The 22-year-old died on Sunday while in an Atlanta-area hospice six months after she was found unconscious face-down in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia, home. Since the initial incident, she never regained full responsiveness, and her condition only continued to deteriorate with time.
"Yesterday, Bobbi Kristina Brown took her place in heaven," Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown, said in a statement. "Krissy fought to get well for months, however she has [succumbed] to her injuries."
