Madea saves the day again this Christmas in Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas (The Play),  scheduled to hit DVD and Blu-ray on November 22.

A newly filmed version of Perry's live stage show, this holiday special follows the wealthy, dysfunctional Mansell family, who meet for Christmas at their posh Cape Cod estate. Family arguments and secrets cause quite a stir and threaten to ruin the holiday until Madea steps in to straighten things out.

The play features musical numbers written by Perry and stars a number of fan favorites, including Cheryl Pepsii Riley (Madea‘s Big Happy Family), Chandra Currelley-Young (Diary of a Mad Black Woman) and Cassi Davis (TV’s House of Payne).  

The release of A Madea Christmas (The Play) will coincide with the DVD debut of Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns: Season 3 on the same day.
