Draya Michelle is proud to be baking a bun in her oven, even if she thinks people don't understand her.

Last week, 39-year-old Michele marked International Women's Day with the exciting news of her pregnancy in an Instagram post. While some people flooded her with well wishes in the comment section, others criticized her relationship with NBA star Jalen Green, 22, as reported by Page Six.

“Get comfortable being misunderstood. Only a fraction of people will be able to truly grasp your essence. You are not on anyone else’s timeline of comprehension,” she wrote in her Instagram Story.

“Also, it’s none of your business how others choose to perceive you. Most High sees you clearly – let that be enough.”

Michele shared the message after she announced her pregnancy, which was accompanied by a maternity shoot featuring her in a white suit accentuated with feathers and her growing bump.

"As women, we navigate through so much, often leading us to question, “What is my purpose?” For me, the magic lies in motherhood and the awe-inspiring ability to bring life into this world over the span of two decades," she explained on the app. "It’s my superpower. And if anything can surpass the wonder of being a woman, it’s the privilege of bringing another woman into existence 🎀."

"We are overjoyed to share our love for you, little girl. I’m am excited to speak words to the daughter I never thought I’d have. We are anxious about your arrival, but take your time — this world can be tough. But know you are being brought into a space of love, security, and adornment."

While the “The Basketball Wives” alum did not reveal her due date, she did share that she is seven months pregnant (28 weeks, to be exact) and expecting to give birth in May 2024.

Michelle is the mother of a 21-year-old son named Kniko. She also shares son Jru, 7, with former NFL star Orlando Scandrick.

In January, pregnancy rumors began to swell when Michele was spotted with Green at a Rockets game, where she was seen wearing a pair of denim overalls. And dating speculation started to circulate last year after the duo were spotted out together.

The NBA rookie signed a 40.8 million contract with the Rockets in 2021, as cited by Forbes.
