Bow Wow and Brandon T. Jackson both started out as kids in the industry, but as they grew into their adulthood, the two seemed to butt heads, forming what many describe as a prolonged beef through the years.

Over the weekend, it appeared that Jackson hit up one of Bow Wow's friends to set up a "meeting" where the two would duke it out, but according to the actor, he wasn't the one behind the text.

One of the rapper's friends, Wackstar, uploaded the text conversation that appeared to show Jackson asking for a one-on-one fight with Bow Wow.

Jackson has since reached out to The Shade Room to clarify that he didn't send those messages, as he forgave Bow Wow via Instagram hours before the threat even went public.

"Those text messages ain't me! Somebody is instigating this," he said. "I already forgave bow wow, look at my previous post. These dudes are trying to get attention off of something that ain't got nothing to do with them. People must [have] nothing else to do. People need to grow up. We aren't in roll bounce no more lol... so whoever is trying to keep this going you gonna have to deal with the father on that."
