Limbaugh Calls Obama an Oreo—Again
Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh on his Wednesday broadcast compared President Obama to the Triple Double Oreo that Kraft foods has just released. The new cookie combines a layer of vanilla cream, a layer of chocolate cream and three chocolate wafers.
Limbaugh called it a “biracial cookie” and said that “it isn't going to be long before it's going to be called the Or-Bam-eo or something like this."
He also ridiculed First Lady Michele Obama’s efforts to help Americans curb childhood obesity.
“I mean, every time Michelle Obama goes out there and talks about healthful eating, the food industry responds with, ‘Oh, yeah? Take this.’ And Kraft comes up with the Or-Bam-eo, the triple double-dipper,” Limbaugh said.
It’s not the first time that Limbaugh has referred to the president as an Oreo cookie. In 2009, he said that food safety advocates were “going to go after Oreos” but might have to wait until Obama leaves office. He surely knows that his use of the term is a racial slur, but simply doesn’t give a Fig Newton.
