Summer Walker is preparing for birth! The pregnant singer recently shared several heartwarming photos of herself laying in an at-home “labor sling” to show fans how she’s preparing for the arrival of her second child.
“I took a pic in a sling that’s all,” Summer commented on a series of Instagram photos demonstrating how the tool works. “Side note, prego ladies should order this off Amazon. [It] takes all the pressure off your back. I been uncomfortable as hell till this got built.”
According to WW Health Birth Center, a labor sling (also known as a birth hammock) is a tool used to provide comfort to laboring moms. Further research revealed that the tool, which is made of a soft ribbon, helps shorten labor and lessen pain.
The smile on Summer’s face is enough to persuade us that a labor sling may be the way to go for pregnant moms who need back relief.
