    You may know Trey Songz as "Mr. Steal Yo' Girl," but he's more than just an R&B singer. In 2010, Trey founded his Angels With Hearts Foundation. This foundation was created by Trey Songz to encourage his fans to give back to their community and help in a positive way. The charity aims to help all people across the world. His fan club members that are part of this organization are called Trey'z Angels.

    Prior to starting his Angels With Hearts foundation, Trey Songz formed the Songz 4 Peace foundation with Chicago philanthropist Noonie G. The initiative was started in August 2008 and was created to empower the youth. The initiative aims to educate youth and curb violence within the community.

    On MTV's show When I was 17, Trey admitted that he was training to be a barber. At that age, his hair cutting skills where in high demand. He cut all of his friends' hair and even shaped his girlfriend's eyebrows!

    Trey Songz is often compared to R. Kelly, but he's stated that his biggest musical influence is D'Angelo. The two have not collaborated yet but have gone on to perform at the same concerts and festivals. We're ready for a Trey Songz and D'Angelo collab!

    While Trey Songz was training to be a barber at the age of 17, he was also practicing his vocals. During this time, he managed to win a contest to sing with Aretha Franklin! Things then came full circle in 2005, when Franklin was featured on Songz's "I Gotta Make It" remix. The two then went on to perform together in 2012 at the Essence Music Festival!

    Not quite. But, in 2002 Trey sang background vocals for the group on their hit song "Bump, Bump, Bump."

    Trey Songz hasn't always been the singer we know of today. When he was younger, he sang in his church choir but had dreams of being a rapper. After meeting producer Troy Taylor at a talent show, Taylor signed him and helped him land a deal at Atlantic Records.
