Finally, Ron Artest is the peacemaker. The NBA star helped break up a fistfight outside of an Los Angeles nightclub.

TMZ reported that, shortly after leaving the club, Artest witnessed the brawl—between a man and a woman—on Hollywood Boulevard. After some maneuvering, the Lakers forward intervened, separating the two. Once he stopped the battle, Artest got into a waiting vehicle and went home.

"Unfortunately there was a situation at the club and some people had too much to drink,” he explained to TMZ after they caught up with him, “and got unruly and aggressive. I tried to diffuse the situation. Some people just don't think clearly when they've had too much to drink—it's an unfortunate reality. "

The female fighter did admit to being "wasted,” but insisted the other guy instigated the altercation.
