Wonda, the hit-maker behind stars like The Fugees, Wyclef Jean, Mary J. Blige, Destiny’s Child and Whitney Houston, is lending his talents to the Music Matters roster in these very intimate jam sessions.

The first episode showcases Marcel performing hit songs from his catalog, including “My Life,” “Bad Habit” and “Make It Last” from his mixtapes 7 Days of Weak and Weak After Next.

The Oakland native, who just released the video for his new song “Be Mine,” is rumored to be releasing his debut album later this year, along with his new mixtape, Weak After Next: Reloaded, which is coming very soon.

Apart from the performances, the series will feature brief interviews with the artists that will be added as bonus footage on BET.com and clips of the sessions will also air on BET Networks.

Stay tuned for future Music Matters The Wonda Sessions with Ro James, Bridget Kelly and others.
