Beyoncé Is the Face of H&M Summer Campaign
Beyoncé seems keen on getting the world to bow down before her — or at least get a good dose of her no matter where they turn. Her latest conquest is H&M's summer campaign, in which the singer rocks beach fashion with the Bahamas as her backdrop. Bey will appear in print ads and billboards this season in looks that have her personal style.
"I've always liked H&M's focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial."
Bey will also appear in the television commercials with her new song, "Standing on the Sun," playing in the background. H&M's summer collection will be available in May and a portion of sales will be donated to WaterAid charity.
Summer might still be three months away, but the singer is clearly excited for the warm weather days. On Wednesday, Bey was all smiles in an Instagram photo that noted the first day of spring.
