John Legend Honors Wife Chrissy Teigen and Youngest Children with New Tattoo
John Legend unveiled a new tattoo on his inner bicep, dedicated to his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and their two youngest children, daughter Esti and son Wren.
On Tuesday (Aug. 27), the R&B artist took to his Instagram page to showcase the meaningful ink and pay a heartfelt tribute to his beloved family.
“I don’t have much ink on my body. My first tattoo was ‘chrissylunamiles’ in a subtle heart-monitor-like cursive on my right arm to honor my growing family. So I asked @winterstone to come back and mirror it with the new babies. Presenting ‘chrissyestiwren’ for the left arm. If you zoom/squint/get reading glasses, you can see it [laughing emoji],” Legend wrote in the caption.
Teigen responded to her husband's new tattoo in the comments section. “Wait TWO CHRISSYS!!!!!! [crying face emojis],” she wrote.
The couple welcomed their eldest daughter, Luna, in 2016, and two years later, the model gave birth to their second child, Miles.
Ahead of the “All of Me” singer’s performance at the Democratic National Convention last week, he revealed that Luna sees Kamala Harris as a role model. “[Luna] is so excited to see someone who’s Black and Asian like she is, [and] a woman like she is — so she’s looking at [Kamala] like, ‘This is me’ up there,’” Legend said in an interview. “For her to see that, of course, is really inspiring, and she’s excited. And she can’t imagine why anyone would vote for Donald Trump, but that’s another issue.”
