Two attendees at the Republican National Convention threw nuts at a Black CNN camerawoman and said, “This is how we feed the animals," CNN confirmed Wednesday.
According to the network, the incident took place on Tuesday afternoon in front of several witnesses. The two attendees involved were removed from the Tampa Bay Times Forum by RNC security and local police.

CNN also published a statement from the convention saying, “Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated."

It's still unclear whether the attendee involved was an official delegate or a lay party supporter.
