WATCH: Big Sean, Jhené Aiko Recreate ‘90s Black Movies In ‘Body Language’ Video
Big Sean and Jhené Aiko are getting their acting on.
The Detroit rapper released the video for his latest single “Body Language” on Wednesday (December 16), featuring his girlfriend, Aiko, the L.A. singer, and Ty Dolla $ign. The track is from Sean’s fifth studio album, Detroit 2.
Sean is featured throughout the video in scenes recreated from classic ‘90s Black films, including 1997’s Love Jones (as Darius Lovehall), 1993’s Poetic Justice (as Lucky), 1995’s Waiting to Exhale, and 1999’s The Best Man (as Harper).
Aiko is portrayed as Justice in the Poetic Justice recreation and acts out an argument scene from the film. She also takes on the Love Jones character Nina Mosley in the video.
Sean and Aiko, who together go by the musical moniker TWENTY88, have been dating on-and-off since 2016.
Detroit 2 was released on September 4 via G.O.O.D. Music. It also features singles “Deep Reverence" and "Wolves."
