Emotional Video Of Carmelo And La La Paying Respects At Lesandro Guzman-Feliz’s Memorial
On Monday, Carmelo Anthony and his wife, La La, visited the family and memorial of 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, who was dragged out of a Bronx deli and viciously stabbed to death by a gang last Wednesday.
According to their driver, La La and Carmelo wanted to keep their visit to the Bronx memorial as private as possible, reported the New York Post.
“This is the only thing they’re doing today, and they wanted to keep it on the down low,” a driver told The Post.
The Shade Room posted video of the couple consoling the victim's family
Before heading to the memorial, the Anthonys spent about 15 minutes with Guzman-Feliz’s mother, Leandra Feliz.
They also presented Guzman-Feliz’s mother with a portrait of her son as well as a Knicks jersey and sneakers
As they began to pull off in a black Chevy Suburban, Guzman-Feliz’s sister came running up the block. The car quickly stopped and La La got out to hug the sister. La La then invited the woman into the car and they drove to the deli memorial together.
Although they tried to keep a low profile, their good deed did not go unnoticed
