Kodak Black, born Dieuson Octave, was sentenced Monday (September 19) in one of the two cases he’s facing. He pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

The 19-year-old rapper was given a four-month bid in St. Lucie County, Florida, and will receive time served for a stint he already participated in. He’ll also forfeit his driver’s license for a year and pay court costs nearing $300.

This could just be the beginning for Kodak as far as legal problems are concerned. The Atlantic Records signee faces a sexual battery charge in South Carolina and it’s unknown if and when he’ll be sent to the state to face a judge. That offense carries a much steeper penalty.

Kodak Black was taken into custody in May after authorities found open warrants for his arrest. In April, he was arrested for leading police on a chase after they approached his car while he was supposedly buying marijuana.

In August, Black was supposed to be released. However, during processing additional cases, including the one for a misdemeanor drug offense, surfaced. Subsequently, he had to remain locked up.
