Watch: Police Intervene In Paula Patton and Robin Thicke’s Custody Battle
Robin Thicke has really been going through it lately.
From his father's passing last month to his increasingly bitter custody battle, the singer and reality star was also hit with allegations of child abuse to make matters worse. On top of that, his former wife, Paula Patton, reportedly denied Thicke access to their 6-year-old son, Julian. As a result of the possible custody order violation, Thicke decided to show up to Patton's house with a police entourage in tow.
According to TMZ, the singer, clearly outraged, went to Patton's house on Friday (Jan. 14) in order to take his son home, as part of their previous agreement and recent court order (which ruled in Thicke's favor). However, as the video footage reveals, Thicke was not able to leave with his son.
As reported, L.A. County Sheriff's deputies went inside Patton's Malibu home to speak with Julian, and according to the reports, the child said he was scared of his father and didn't want to go with him.
As a result of Julian's commentary, the deputies can be heard explaining that they will not take a child against his will.
Hopefully the former couple will be able to reach an agreement that keeps their son's best interests at heart.
