Lil Nas X And DaBaby's 'Panini' Remix Has The Internet Exploding Into A Meta Meme
Per his “Panini” video, it’s Lil Nas X’s world, and we’re just living in it.
The 20-year-old country rap star is pulling out all the stops to promote his debut studio album, 7. Since the roaring success of his “Old Town Road” smash hit, Lil Nas has not let up off the reigns, scoring one release after another and keeping fans guessing what his next move will be.
He whipped fans into a frenzy Thursday night (Sept. 12) when he announced that he was releasing a remix for his latest single, “Panini,” in less than 24 hours. He followed up with a bold claim that he’s planning 25 “Panini” remixes.
It’s a move that most probably saw coming, but the social media charmer worked his magic and kept fans waiting in anticipation to see who he’d be tapping next for a "Panini" remix.
“Whoever can guess who on the panini remix first wins $100 on Cash app,” he tweeted.

Many fans pointed to Philly’s rock trap star Lil Uzi Vert as Lil Nas recently revealed he was interested in linking up with him.
While the consensus is still out as to whether Lil Nas will actually pull off 25 remixes, the “Old Town Road” hitmaker’s latest visual dropped last night, and in a rather unexpected move, he’s enlisted North Carolina spitter DaBaby for his Chowder-themed music video this time around.
It’s probably the most meta-meme, and cleverest, moment in internet history, considering the Cartoon Network brainchild has a main character named Panini.
Lil Nas stars as a trapped-out Chowder while Dababy takes on a slick-talking Schnitzel. The simulation is either glitching, in the words the internet, or we’re living at the best moment in pop culture history.
