In breaking news, a rapper lied.

The details: Brooklyn’s Desiigner recently spoke with Billboard and says that one of the lines in his smash hit, “Panda,” is pretty much a farce.

The Kanye West signee says that when he raps “I got broads in Atlanta,” he’s not telling the truth because he doesn’t have broads in ATL and has never even been there. He did admit he had a Facebook fling with a girl from the Georgia city, but that’s no longer going on.

“We never met in person,” he said. “She just said she was from ATL, so I was like, ‘All right — I got broads in Atlanta.’ It’s real life, you feel me? I put real-life sh*t in my songs.”

Desiigner recently announced he’s working on two projects. The first will be his debut LP, Life of Desiigner. The second is presumably Cruel Winter, the sophomore G.O.O.D. Music compilation album. Desiigner also recently made the cover of XXL’s Freshman issue for this year.
