T-Pain Releases New Single In Honor of Mental Health Awareness Month

"On This Hill” reflects on the importance of mental wellness and the Grammy Award-winning singer is giving away free therapy along with the new track.

Grammy Award winner T-Pain has released his latest single to commemorate Mental Health Awareness Month.

Titled “On This Hill,” the song reflects on mental wellness and on taking a stand for yourself. In an interview with Billboard, T-Pain shared the creative process and the meaning of “On the Hill.”

“This song is really about refusing to be gaslit anymore. It’s about coming to a realization that I have to stand up for myself,” Pain told the outlet. “Over the years, that has just been something I’ve had to open my eyes to and learn how to deal with it. So yeah, I’ll die on this hill, ha!”

Additionally, T-Pain has partnered with Talkspace, an online and mobile therapy company, to offer free therapy to his fans for up to a year.

He also took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news of the song’s release and s the importance of mental health wellness.

“Last day to enter!!! I know things can be rough out there, and we all need some help sometimes. That’s why for my new single On This Hill, I’m teaming up with @talkspace to provide you therapy for up to a year,” his post read.

“All you need to do is head to https://nappyboy.store and follow along with the prompts,” the post continued. “Recipient will be selected tomorrow when my new song drops! Thanks again everyone.”

Along with the new single, T-Pain has announced that he is heading on the road for his “Mansion In Wiscansin Party Tour.” Kicking off in Houston on May 29, the tour will travel across the country for several dates which include a special Juneteenth celebration at The Hollywood Bowl with Color of Noise Orchestra, his third annual Wiscansin Fest at The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee, and a headline show at Central Park SummerStage. The tour extends through July 2004.

T-Pain is also slated to perform with Pitbull on the “Party After Dark Tour.”
