Justin Timberlake to Film 20/20 Experience in Las Vegas
Justin Timberlake is getting ready to wrap up his blockbuster 20/20 Experience World Tour in the biggest way. The former *NSYNC frontman announced that the final two shows will take place on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2 at Las Vegas's MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be filmed by famed screenwriter, producer and filmmaker Jonathan Demme.
Demme is best known for directing The Silence of the Lambs and Neil Young's Heart of Gold concert documentary. According to Billboard, the filmmaker is collaborating with Gary Goetzman, who most recently executive produced the upcoming HBO miniseries Olive Kitteridge, for the Timberlake project.
The "TKO" singer started the global jaunt in November 2013 to support his double album of the same name and has grossed nearly $200 million. The Weeknd joined him for some of the earlier dates.
Timberlake hits the road again on Nov. 20 at Portland's Moda Center before finishing 16 more shows, including stops in Dallas, Los Angeles, Houston and Chicago.
