Bone Thugs-N-Harmony To Take On Three 6 Mafia In Next ‘Verzuz’

The two groups used to beef back in the 1990s.

The next Verzuz will be a Hip Hop classic as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will face off against Three 6 Mafia in a Midwestern-Southern bout.

On December 2, the two groups will go hit-for-hit in Los Angeles. Hits like “Tha Crossroads,” “Sippin On Some Syrup” and more will surely be played in the first Verzuz matchup since Big Daddy Kane and KRS-One linked last month.

Initially, the two groups were supposed to face off back in April of 2020, however DJ Paul said Swizz convinced Krayzie Bone to postpone the non-Verzuz event just an hour before it was set to start.

HipHopDX reports that all members of the Cleveland group will be on stage. It isn’t clear how many members of the Memphis Hip Hop collective will be there. Lord Infamous and Koopsta Knicca passed away in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

The Verzuz is a fitting one as Bone and Three 6 have similar styles and hit the Hip Hop scene at roughly the same time. They also had a beef back in the 90s with each group accusing the other one of stealing their rapping style. It was the topic of the Three 6’s song “Live by Yo Rep (Bone Dis)” from their 1995 debut album Mystic Stylez.
