MGK Calls Yelawolf Beef a Misunderstanding
After Yelawolf drew a line in the sand regarding the rivalry between himself and Bad Boy artist MGK, the latter took to the airwaves to say he doesn't want beef, and that his previous statements were misunderstood.
"I don't think hip hop needs that," MGK said of the supposed beef. "I think it's kinda corny for two white dudes to be beefin'."
With regards to his role in the back-and-forth with Yelawolf, the Cleveland rapper said people shouldn't take his off-the-cuff remarks too seriously.
"I'm young, I'm wild. Sometimes things just fly out of my mouth," he said, adding "Everything I'm doing is all in good fun, people just took things the wrong way."
Addressing Yelawolf's interview directly, however, Machine Gun Kelly took the opportunity to point out the age disparity between he and the Shady Records artist.
"I felt everything he was saying, but he's a lot older," Kelly said. "I'm younger, so of course I'm gonna grow up and be like 'Man, I was an idiot back then, I was a stupid little kid.'"
