Lil Wayne Lands 11 Songs on Billboard Hot 100 \r \r
When Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV exploded onto the Billboard charts this week as the biggest debut for a male artist since his own Tha Carter III in 2008, Birdman was quoted as saying "No record is safe" from the Cash Money star. Now, there's a new milestone C4 has helped Weezy reach and it is making that boast look increasingly plausible.
As of this week, Weezy has a whopping 11 songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100, tying a record previously achieved by only Taylor Swift and David Cook. The only artist to has ever had more songs on the Hot 100 at once is The Beatles, who had 14 charting singles on April 11 1964.
Even before the release of his long-awaited album, Wayne already had three tracks on the charts. The highest placing of the recent barrage is the new single "Mirror" featuring Bruno Mars.
