If you’re a big southern hip hop fan you’ve been waiting for the release of Organized Noize’s documentary since its existence was announced.

Now on Netflix, The Art Of Organized Noize features appearances from the trio of Rico Wade, Sleepy Brown and Ray Murray along with everyone who was there including OutKast, Goodie Mob, L.A. Reid and even newer artists like Future and Metro Boomin who were influenced by the production group early on in their careers.

The hour and-40 minute documentary takes you straight back to the legendary Dungeon where OutKast’s debut LP Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik and Goodie Mob’s Soul Food were birthed and describes a time in which the music industry was scarce in the south. It also tracks their progression to making hit records for some of the 90’s biggest artists like TLC (with “Waterfalls”) and En Vogue (with "Don't Let Go (Love)").

Many don’t know the influence Organized Noize had on southern hip hop and have often times have been placed behind other production groups of equal talent. While the group’s demise came before their prime was over, their story is one of rap lore and definitely worth knowing in detail.
