Gucci Mane Goes From Jail to Gig
The rapper was back on stage the same day he was released.
The man wastes no time when it comes to celebrating. Rapper Gucci Mane finished his two-and-a-half-month stint in prison Friday morning and before the day was through, he was performing for a crowd in Tennessee.
Mane, whose real name is Radrick Davis, was jailed April 20 for pushing a woman out of his moving vehicle and sentenced to eight months, but was released early. Upon regaining his freedom, he took to Twitter to announce the news adding, "First Live performance as a free man tonight!"
The concert took place at Club Fathom and tickets for his "Welcome Home Party" were sold online for $40 a piece.
