Bobby V to Headline Music Matters Showcase
In 2013, BET Music Matters brought you some of the year's hottest up-and-comers in R&B, hip hop and gospel music, and we're closing out the year with the most star-studded lineup yet.
The next showcase, scheduled for Dec. 10 at SOB's in NYC, will be headlined by none other than Mississippi-born singer Bobby V, whose album Peach Moon comes out Dec. 12. The down South crooner will perform hits like "Slow Down" and "Turn the Page" as well as some selections from the new album.
Austin Brown, who has established himself as both a singing and dancing sensation with his debut album, Highway 85, as well as with his performance at the 2013 BET Awards, will also take the stage.
And if that's still not enough, Raphael Saadiq prodigy Adrian Marcel will perform hits like "7 Days of Weak;" and Ro James, who's Snoop-assisted single "84" generated quite a buzz when it dropped back in September. Mateo and Curtis Fields will round out the evening. There also may be surprise guests [wink].
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and host Buttahman will kick things off at 8 p.m. with DJ Lyve holdin' it down between sets.
Space is limited so go online and get your tickets now! Show is 21 and older, don't forget your ID.
