It is not uncommon to trace the origin of a trend from how it's done on the couture runways to how it can be worn IRL. This is exactly what we did when we attempted to tackle the elusive glitter eyeliner trend that first appeared on the Chanel catwalk and then later this year at the 2016 Olympics in Rio on the face of gold medalist, Simone Biles.

Now, we pretty much always want to be just like Simone but since our tumbling skills are subpar, we settled for recreating her iconic makeup look.
