NBA fly guy Russell Westbrook made a bold fashion statement in Gucci during his guest appearance on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.

The NBA superstar wore a Gucci classic tee and Gucci Ace sneakers to dress up his vibrant pink sweatsuit. You know my favorite word for these style moves already, right? PROGRESSIVE! Indeed it is, but this is nothing new for Russell at all. Despite what you think, the look isn’t cheap! The ready-to-wear Gucci logo t-shirt's price tag is $450 and the Ace leather kicks will run you $550. The sweatsuit? Priceless, of course!  

The best-dressed MVP knew he wanted to make a statement, and before the trolls of social media could rip him to shreds for his look, he created the narrative for them and referred to himself as “Pink Panther," followed by #whynot and the hashtags for New York Fashion Week. 

The stylish player continues to push the envelope with his style and I personally support it! I am actually running to Barneys right now to see if they have a millennial pink one in my size! It’s New York Fashion Week and if Kim K can climb a tree naked, my man Russell can represent as the Pink Panther! Fashion Week, the one time of year you can literally get away with anything!
