The radio legend has delivered some unforgettable moments.

Sway Calloway has sat down with some of the biggest names in music, fashion, Hollywood, and culture for over two decades. As the SiriusXM radio host prepares for a new season of legendary chat sessions, we look back at some of his most iconic interviews. From hip-hop superstars to history-makers, here are moments when Sway had everyone talking.

  • Tyrese - 2023

After several concerning viral videos over the years, actor Tyrese jumped on "Sway in the Morning," which has aired on SiriusXM since 2011, to discuss mental health and psychiatric medications. It was a robust discussion, delving into mental health, especially among Black men. Tyrese said at one point, he was "out of his mind."

  • Iman - 2022

Last year, Sway interviewed legendary supermodel and fashion pioneer Iman. The powerful interview covered her remarkable career but one significant moment stood out.

Iman, originally from Somalia, addressed critiques of her early in the career that "she looks like a white woman dipped in chocolate." Iman said, "I am Somilia. I have not a drop of blood of white in me. Not a drop! I'm pure Somalia... I didn't want any white person to take any credit for how I look."

Sway responded with, "You better talk your shit, Iman!"

  • Jussie Smollett - 2022

After Jussie Smollett was accused of staging a hate crime -- an accusation he denies and is still fighting  -- his career was ruined. In a rare interview to promote the BET+ film "B-Boy Blues," Smollett sat down with Sway. Smollett maintained his innocence, telling Sway, “If I had done something like this, it would mean that I stuck my fist in the pain of Black Americans in this country for over 400 years … It would mean that I stuck my fist in the fears of the LGBTQ community, all over the world.”

  • Eminem - 2018

In 2018, Sway interviewed Eminem for "Kamikaze" and revealed the Secret Service visited his studio after he blasted former President Donald Trump at the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards. Em said, "They came to my studio. They was just basically asking me questions about my lyrics to see what the intent was behind them, and if I was making an actual threat or just expressing myself."

  • Kanye West - 2013

If you ever heard the phrase "How Sway," it originated from a heated conversation between Kanye West and Sway in 2013. In the interview, Kanye ranted about his frustration with the fashion industry.  At one point, as Sway was calmly asking why he doesn't empower himself, 'Ye snapped, "You ain't got the answers, Sway!"

    The rest is viral history!
