Jason Derulo: Find Out How Much The Artist Tipped A Waiter In Omaha
After dining out last week in Nebraska, Jason Derulo tipped a waiter enough money to cover a semester in college.
According to PEOPLE, Derulo, 33, tipped the water $5,000 on his March 5 bill. The waiter, Jordan Schaffer, showed overwhelming gratitude to the singer during a TikTok video.
“Jason Derulo tipped me $5,000 at Charleston’s Restaurant in Omaha,” Schaffer said during the TikTok video he recorded at the restaurant.
“Wow, my heart’s beating really fast,” he says while standing at Derulo’s table. “Hey Jason, thank you. You just paid for a semester at my college. I can’t thank you enough.”
He added, “I hope you and your family have a wonderful time in Omaha. And I hope you see us again. Thank you so much.”
Derulo thanked Schaffer for his “awesome” service.
Still in disbelief, Schaffer shows the check, which shows a bill of $795.99 and $5,795.99 after the tip was given.
“I can’t believe it,” he said.
Derulo is currently working on promoting his forthcoming book, Sing Your Name Out Loud: 15 Rules for Living Your Dream, set for a June 27, 2023 release.
