Raekwon Marries Longtime Girlfriend Jasmine in Star-Studded Wedding
Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan is touting a new title these days; husband!
On Friday, June 30th, the rapper married his longtime girlfriend, Jasmine in Dallas, TX. The happy couple exchanged their vows in front of some of the biggest power players in the music industry, according to AcesShowBiz.
Fellow bandmates of the Clan including RZA, Ghostface Killah and Inspectah Deck were onsite in full support of their comrade and his new wife. Nas, Fat Joe, and N.O.R.E were among the other guests who witnessed the ceremony.
Faith Evans played a special role as the wedding singer on the bride and groom’s big day. Raekwon let his vocal cords in on the fun by singing “I’ll Be Missing You” with Evans.
Steve Rifkind –who flexed a pair of green and white Air Jordan sneakers with a causal suit– shared images of the night on Instagram with a caption that read "Congrats @raekwon and Jasmin on your wedding family's pictures."
Rapper Fat Joe also posted on Instagram a pic of various high-profile wedding guests, including Nas and N.O.R.E. In the photos, Fat Joe’s personality is on full display in a bright green monochromatic suit. On the other hand, Nas and N.O.R.E opted for classic black instead. In the photo, Nas is donning a black tuxedo with a matching bow tie, while N.O.R.E rocked a black jacquard sports coat and coordinating trousers. Fat Joe captioned the post, "Congrats to my brother @raekwon and his lovely wife jasmine love y'all."
