During the BET Awards 2023, the “Euphoria” emcee earned his sixth title as “Best Male Hip-Hop Artis,” trumping several rappers, including Lil Baby, Kanye West, Jack Harlow, Future, J. Cole, and Drake.

“Alright”
Kendrick’s delivered a rallying cry for hope and resilience with the release of his hit single “Alright” from his 2015 album To Pimp a Butterfly. The track, which became the anthem for the Black Lives Movement, was produced by Grammy Award-winning super producer Pharrell Williams and Sounwave.
“Swimming Pools (Drank)”
Kendrick made his official major-label debut studio with the release of his 2012 Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. “Swimming Pools (Drank)” served as the leading single. The music video was shot by director Jerome D and featured a cameo from actor and standup comedian Mike Epps.
“Rigamortus”
“Rigamortus” is notable thanks to Kendrick’s lightning-fast delivery and intricate wordplay over a frenetic jazz-influenced beat. The emcee released the single in 2011 and featured it on his debut studio album, Section .80.

“B-tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe”
Kendrick reflects on fame, success, and personal growth in his single “B-tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” The soulful record, produced by longtime collaborator Sounwave, is featured on the emcee’s critically acclaimed Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.
“P&P 1.5”
Released on his fourth mixtape, Overly Dedicated, Kendrick tapped former TDE labelmate Ab-Soul for this smooth jazz-inspired track, showcasing his storytelling prowess and offering a glimpse into his early brilliance.
