She may have had to take off her dancing shoes a little sooner than she hoped, but Dancing With the Stars reject Elisabetta Canalis — also known as George Clooney's former hot young thing — has found a new hobby in True Blood star Mehcad Brooks.

TMZ spotted the new couple on a date at Hollywood hotspot STK…not exactly a place you go when you're trying to keep your relationship under wraps. Is Canalis trying to send a message to her ex Clooney, or has she found a soulmate in Brooks's washboard abs?
