Eminem Gets Political With New Song, 'Campaign Speech'
Eminem is back and in honor of the third and final debate tonight (October 19), he’s released a new song called “Campaign Speech.”
The title of the song is apt because he spits for over seven minutes referencing Donald Trump supporters and his political platform, George Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin, and Charleston church shooter and prison bait Dylann Roof. He also takes aim at Vivica A. Fox for good measure (or whatever).
The Detroit rapper shared the new joint on Twitter, where he also says he’s working on a new album. It’s been three years since we got a full body of work from the legendary wordsmith. 2013’s Marshall Mathers LP 2. He did drop a compilation album in 2014 with Shady XV and executive produced the soundtrack to the boxing film Southpaw last year.
