The Final Moment Of Mac Miller's Tribute Concert Is Breaking Fans' Hearts Everywhere
We love you, forever.
Mac Miller's tragically sudden death rocked the music world to its core. The 26-year-old Pittsburgh native died of an apparent overdose on September 7 and many are still coping with this loss. His family announced a "Celebration of Life" tribute concert earlier this month, and the event was live-streamed from Los Angeles last night (Oct. 31). The tribute's performances included Chance The Rapper, SZA, Ty Dolla $ign, Anderson.Paak, Miguel, Vince Staples and more.
While fans of the beloved rapper honored his life, the concert's final video montage really had all in full-blown tears.
Prior to his life's highlights, Mac's voice echoed in the theater. He thanked his fans for coming out, expressed his "appreciation" for them all.
Promptly after, all of the performers as well as his family walked onto the stage to join fans in watching, as his hit "Best Day Ever" rang out.
