R&B crooner Frank Ocean came out victorious in the defamation suit filed against him by his estranged father, Calvin Cooksey.

According to TMZ, Cooksey accused the singer of defaming him in a social media post. Ocean’s allegedly called his father a ‘bigot’ while recounting a childhood experience where his father allegedly called a transgender waitress “a f****t.”

An LA judge ruled in favor of the Blonde crooner claiming Cooksey “failed to prove his son had defamed him at all.”

Frank Ocean’s legal reps reportedly told TMZ, “It was a sad case, but we are glad that it ended in Frank’s favor and that it is over.
