2022 NAACP Image Awards: 5 Times Actor Kofi Siriboe Raised the Heat on Screen
Kofi Siriboe’s short time onscreen has already made a lasting impression on the fans who tune into the many shows and films his good looks and even more remarkable talents have landed him. Having starred in projects including Doja Cat’s “Streets” and his most notable role to date as Ralph Angel Bordelon in the Ava DuVernay created and executive produced drama, Queen Sugar. At the rate, we’d run to the theater to watch Kofi paint a wall white, instead here are five times the actor raised the heat on screen.
Malik – Girls Trip
Kofi plays Malik, the handsome love interest of Jada Pinkett Smith’s character Lisa Cooper, in the hit comedy Girls Trip. The Will Packer-produced and Kenya Barris-written comedy also stars Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, and Emmy Award-winner and comedian Tiffany Haddish.
Isaiah – Really Love
In this Netflix romantic drama, Kofi stars as Isaiah, a struggling artist who stirs up a romance with an ambitious law student Stevie, played by actress Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing, while trying to break into the competitive art world.
Taxi Driver – Doja Cat’s “Streets”
Kofi made a steamy cameo as a taxi cab driver in the music video for Doja Cat’s viral single “Street” off her second studio Hot Pink.

Ralph Angel Bordelon – Queen Sugar
In the role that made him a household name, the young actor stars as Ralph Angel Bordelon, 1 of three Bordelon siblings played by actresses Rutina Wesley and Dawn-Lyen Gardner. The role garnered the star the necessary attention to secure roles on other hit projects. He also earned several accolades, including three consecutive NAACP Image Award nominations.
Kofi Siriboe - Sexiest Men Alive List
While this particular achievement didn’t happen on screen, his overall contribution earned him the honor. In 2017, Kofi’s good look snatched a spot on People's annual Sexiest Men Alive list. At the time, the actor told the outlet, he had a “hard time adjusting to the new fame and all the attention and this new title as a sex symbol — it’s a lot to digest as a young man. So only now, after these two years especially, I guess I’ve just got to embrace this.”
