Fans Are Finding This Video of 21 Savage And His Recent Arrest To Be Too Much Of A Coincidence
Right before the holidays, 21 Savage dropped his highly-anticipated second album, i am > i was. The LP’s first track, “a lot,” originally featuring hip-hop legend, J. Cole set the internet ablaze. Amid reports of him being arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, this past Sunday (Feb. 3), fans dug up a recent performance of the Atlanta-based rapper from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he swapped out Cole’s verse for bars about immigration and Flint’s water crisis.

Oddly enough, less than a week later, he was arrested by ICE...

It was reported that the rapper was born in the United Kingdom, as were his parents and he was targeted by ICE. He reportedly arrived in America in 2005 on a visa, which expired a year later. Earlier today, his alleged birth certificate surfaced, seemingly confirming the rumors. ICE has been relentless in tarnishing 21's public persona since the arrest and now, his immigration attorney, Charles H. Kuck has released a statement.

Kuck claims the Department of Homeland Security is aware of Savage’s history since filing for a U-Visa in 2017.
His statement also says that the rapper's 2014 felony drug conviction was expunged from his record and he is "eligible for relief from deportation."
