Gangsta Boo's Cause of Death Revealed
Gangsta Boo (born Lola Mitchell), the celebrated Memphis rapper widely renowned as a member of Three 6 Mafia, sadly passed away in January. Mitchell, 43, was found unresponsive at her mother's home in Memphis.
According to recent reports from Memphis news stations Fox 13, the autopsy report has unveiled that her untimely demise resulted from an accidental overdose. The report disclosed the presence of fentanyl, cocaine, and ethanol (alcohol) in her system.
Shortly after her death, Mitchell's mother said, "The Mitchell family would like to thank everyone for their condolences regarding the untimely death of Lola ‘Gangsta Boo’ Mitchell,” she said. “The family is asking for your continued prayers and privacy as we process the loss of our loved one.”
On August 7, which would have marked her 44th birthday, a posthumous album by Boo is set to be released. This highly anticipated album will feature tracks showcasing numerous artists from the rapper's inner circle, paying homage to her musical legacy.
