Michael Jackson's 'Off The Wall' will be Reissued with a Spike Lee Documentary
Spike Lee’s been working on a documentary about Michael Jackson for a while and now we know the release date for the landmark film piece.
Michael Jackson’s Journey from Motown to Off the Wall will be bundled with a re-released version of the Jackson’s fifth LP and physically drop on February 26.
The documentary features interviews with Kobe Bryant, The Weeknd, John Legend, Pharrell Williams, Questlove, L.A. Reid, Lee Daniels, Misty Copeland, Mark Ronson, and Katherine and Joe Jackson. It’s slated for premiere at Sundance Film Festival on January 24 and will air on Showtime February 5.
Michael Jackson released Off the Wall in 1979 via Epic Records and was his first album since his departure from Motown. It has since sold more than 20 million copies worldwide.
