Timbaland to Produce 75 Tracks for Sony's Extreme Music
The music production house places music in hit TV shows and movies.
Timbaland has landed a 75-track deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing's Extreme Music for its Production Music Library, AllHipHop reports. The music production house provides background music to professional music users and music supervisors. Under the deal, Timbaland and Mike "Daddy" Evans will produce new tracks exclusively for Extreme Music, which places music in hit TV shows and movies such as "Glee," "Avatar" and "Inception."
Last week, Extreme Music announced a similar deal with Xhibit where the rapper is set to produce 40 new tracks for its collection. Other artists on the roster include Quincy Jones and Snoop Dogg.
