Report: Young Dro Arrested for Theft
Young Dro was arrested in Georgia Sunday (March 29), the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports. Police apprehended the 36-year-old rapper, born D’Juan Hart on a single count of “theft by conversion of leased or rented personal property,” stemming from an incident in February.
Dro was taken to the DeKalb County jail, and released sometime today after posting $2,000 bail, records show. The details of the theft incident are unclear.
According to Cynthia Williams, spokeswoman for the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, authorities busted him during an unrelated run-in. “In the process, officers learned of an outstanding warrant for his arrest in DeKalb County,” Williams said.
The Grand Hustle artist hasn’t commented on the arrest.
