Will Smith Congratulates Jada Pinkett Smith for Becoming a Bestselling Author
Say what you want, but Will Smith is Jada Pinkett Smith's biggest cheerleader.
Last week, "The Matrix Resurrections" star debuted her tell-all memoir, “Worthy.” She’s now a New York Times bestselling author, landing No. 3 on the coveted chart for nonfiction books, combined print and e-book sales, as reported by PEOPLE.
Jada shared her joy for this accomplishment on Instagram, and Will showed up for her.
"Thank you to the RTT family, the Worthy Warriors and to all of you that are willing to read and hear my story beyond headlines," Jada said during the video message in the post.
"New York Times Best Selling Author, Jada Pinkett Smith' CONGRATS, MAMA! Big Looks," Will said in the comment section.
Jada went on a media blitz ahead of the memoir’s release, dropping major bombshells about her marriage to Will. Among the revelations included their seven-year separation, living "completely separate lives" before the infamous Oscars slap in 2022.
After the book dropped Oct. 17, Will attended one of the tour stops in Baltimore, along with their children Jaden, 25, Willow, 22 and Trey, 30.
During that event, Will addressed the crowd and said their marriage has been a "sloppy public experiment in unconditional love," according to the Baltimore Banner.
Still, the "Men In Black" star declared he is at his peak glory.
"I have achieved every single thing I have ever wanted in my entire life. There is not one thing left that I desire in this world—all of the awards, all of the money, the family—everything I've ever dreamed," he told the audience.
Additionally, Will made it clear that his success was "largely built on the foundation of Jada's sacrifices," while adding she developed a close friendship with his ex-wife and Trey’s mother Sheree Zampino “so that I could have all of my children with me.”
"Can you show up and love somebody for the rest of your life, even when you don't agree with them?" Will added. "Jada is the best friend I have ever had on this planet and I am going to show up for her and support her for the rest of my life."
