Danielle Deadwyler
Danielle Deadwyler has had a heck of a year with her groundbreaking lead role as Mamie Till-Mobley, mother of Emmett Till, who is a civil rights advocate as she fights for justice following the brutal slaying of her son in the Jim Crow South in the film Till. The actress also took her talents back to Netflix to co-star alongside Zoe Saldana in From Scratch, inspired by a true story and follows Houston native Tembi Locke discusses her memoir of losing her husband and finding healing in the warmth of his mother's Sicilian kitchen.
Jalyn Hall
If you haven't heard of Jalyn Hall, you need to! The 15-year-old actor starred in the motion-picture film Till earlier this year and starred as Emmett Till alongside Dominique Deadwyler who portrayed his mother Mamie Till-Mobley. Hall has also had a recurring supporting role since 2018 in the CW television series All-American. It was recently announced that the actor would appear in the upcoming fourth installment in the Disney+/National Geographic anthology series to play the young Martin Luther King Jr. in Genius: MLK/X.
Quintessa Swindel
Non-binary actor Quintessa Swindel made their first big break in the HBO Max show Euphoria playing Anna in a 2019 episode. Most recently, they starred alongside Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in Black Adam, as Cyclone - Maxine Hunkel.

Emayatzy Corinealdi
Fans of Emayatzy Corinealdi, might remember her from Ballers back in 2017 for her role as Candace Brewer BUT the award-winning actress took her acting talents to new heights when starred as Jax Stewart in the Hulu series Reasonable Doubt. It's unclear if the series is renewed for a second season but Corinealdi's performance and viewers reactions has to be enough to seal the deal!
Naomi Ackie
The 30-year-old British actress is set to star as the late singer Whitney Houston in the upcoming Sony biopic Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody, and while her fans have seen her in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the Netflix comedy-drama series, The End of the F***ing World, her portrayal as the Grammy award-winning songstress, is sure to have everyone talking!
