Destiny’s Child Is Reportedly Planning A 2020 World Tour
After Beyoncé enriched our lives with a short yet sweet taste of a Destiny’s Child reunion at her Black AF Coachella experience in 2018, fans have been hoping that God’s favor would smile on them once again with a real musical return of R&B’s highly favored girl group.
Well, prayers have been answered. The super group is reportedly in the process of re-grouping to grace us with some DC3 slayage in the near future. Surprisingly, Bey has been the driving force behind putting all the puzzle pieces in place, although Kelly and Michelle are solidly on board, a music insider spilled to The Sun.
Allegedly, Bey has been hard at work pulling things together behind the scenes “to get the girls back together with her in the studio, and she can’t think of a better time than 2020, when they will be marking two decades as one of the world’s biggest all-female groups.”
Discussion is still in the early phases, but the ladies reportedly have some big plans in store for fans who have soldiered through more than a decade of waiting for a follow-up to their 2004-release, Destiny Fulfilled, the group’s final gift to fans before they went on hiatus.
Stops will be planned for cities across the United States and Europe.
The R&B sisters haven’t confirmed the news themselves, but knowing their history, we likely won’t know it's real until its actually happening... if Kelly’s smooth response to the last time somebody asked her about a D.C. tour is anything to go by.
That said, the industry insider didn’t reveal much else information pertaining to the rumored tour, but fans are nonetheless hyped. They are already opening the wallets, bank accounts and stacking their paper.
