Birdman to Defuse Lil Wayne and Trick Daddy Beef

Cash Money co-founder wants sit-down with feuding Southern rappers.

According to TMZ, Birdman is looking to arrange a sit-down between Trick Daddy and Lil Wayne.

The tension between the two rappers/label execs stems from an impassioned rant from Lil Wayne about the Miami Heat, Trick's hometown team. Trick, the self-proclaimed "mayor" of Miami, responded with an ominous-sounding request that Lil Wayne and crew start "checking in" before partying in the city; and, reportedly, attempted to enforce his new rule at a local strip club, King of Diamonds, with a squad of 40-50 Miamians as back-up.

Security defused the flare up and a club rep said both rappers are welcome back. However, Trick told TMZ that Wayne has since had him ousted from the top strip clubs in Miami. He denied involvement in the King of Diamonds incident (albeit rather threateningly) altogether. "If I [wanted to start trouble with Lil Wayne] he would have been in the hospital for a different reason than a seizure," he said.

In rap beef history, Birdman's not the only one who's needed to step in on the ego battlefield. Check out this list of other "Peacekeepers: Rap Beef Mediators."
