Former Boston Celtics three-time All-Star Antoine Walker didn’t pay his gambling debts in Las Vegas and now he is paying a hefty price.

Walker was sentenced Tuesday to five years of probation and ordered to pay $770,050 restitution for debts he incurred between 2008 and 2009 at Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and Red Rock Casino Resort, according an Associated Press report. Walker, 35, could face a year of prison if he violates his probation.

But prosecutor Samuel Bateman told reporters the felony charges can be dismissed if Walker completely satisfies his debt. Walker had no comment after the proceedings.

Walker, who starred with the Celtics and won a NBA title with the Miami Heat in 2006, has fallen on hard financial times since his NBA playing days ended. He filed for Chapter7 bankruptcy liquidation in 2010, according to AP.

Walker, who won a national championship with Kentucky in 1996, saw his NBA career end in 2008 with Minnesota. He last played competitively for the NBA Developmental League’s Idaho Stampede.
